Bridging the literacy gap

Our core value as an organization is to build and train a strong network of volunteers and individuals, with skills and knowledge capable of teaching children in deprived communities in Ghana to become the best of their abilities more.

What We Do

With a focus on SDG 4 (Quality Education), we establish literacy clubs in public basic schools and community libraries in deprived communities to improve pupil’s literacy ability as well as offering remedial lessons for students with reading difficulties.

What We Have Achieved

In the past 17 months, we have used TeRF hybrid curriculum and audio-visual aids to teach literacy to over 500 students in 10 schools in Cape Coast, Tamale and Savelugu in Central and Northern Regions respectively.

Our Ambitious Goal

We are implementing two modules: an accelerated learning programme for children with learning challenges and a teacher professional development training programme.
