Abigail Havor is a professional teacher with eight years of experience using a play-based learning approach to teaching in the early grades. Abigail is a master teacher and trainer of Jolly Phonics. She consults for the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment on the design of a lower primary teaching guide for the integration of STEM concepts in project- and play-based approaches. She was adjudged the 2017 Ghana Education Service (Ga-South Municipal Education Directorate) Best Teacher for demonstrating competency in using a play-based methodology in teaching. Abigail has a master's in mathematical science from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS-Ghana), a bachelor's from Valley View University, and a diploma in education from Akatsi College of Education.
